Unit conversion

Sets what plain "cup", "tbsp" and "tsp" mean in the converters on this page. Pints, sticks, "metric cup" and "US legal cup" (240 ml, US nutrition labels) are always their fixed sizes. The recipe scaler always uses US cups. Australian sizes follow Standards Australia AS 1325; which other countries use the 15 ml tablespoon is unverified.

Temperature

Oven temperature table (°F, °C, gas mark)
°C and UK fan °C (20 °C lower) as in the BBC Good Food conversion guide. US recipes: convection 25 °F lower (King Arthur Baking).
